The family photos people treasure aren't the ones where everyone's lined up saying cheese — they're the beach day, the back garden, grandad mid-story. I shoot family sessions on 35mm film across Surrey and London that feel like your actual life, not a catalogue.

Toddlers to grandparents, chaos welcome. Film is forgiving, warm, and thirty years from now the photographs will feel like the day did. I shoot across Surrey and London, and I'm happy to travel where the shoot takes me.

How a family shoot works

Do something, don't pose — relax at home, head to your favourite spot, somewhere that means something to you. I'll capture the real moments, not the awkward 'say cheese' ones.
Kid-speed, not schedule-speed — film doesn't rush, and neither do I.
Scanned negatives + edited images — with prints and framing available for the wall.
Pricing on enquiry — sessions across Surrey and London; further afield by arrangement.

Common questions

How much does a family shoot cost?
Pricing depends on the location and length of the session. Get in touch and I'll quote it properly.
Will you cope with young children?
Happily. Nobody has to sit still or say cheese — we do something normal and I photograph around the edges of it.
Where do family shoots happen?
At home, on a favourite walk, at the park you always end up in. Somewhere that means something beats a studio every time.
How many photos do we get?
A properly edited set rather than a thousand-file dump — plus the scanned negatives from every roll.
How long until we get them?
Around two to three weeks, once the film comes back from developing.
