I'm Joseph Rossi — a photographer based in the Surrey Hills, shooting in Guildford and the surrounding area on 35mm film. Portrait shoots, couples photography, family sessions, dog photography, event coverage and brand imagery for small businesses — all made with real film, honest light and no studio stiffness.
The cobbled High Street, the River Wey towpath and Stoke Park — with the Surrey Hills ten minutes out. Knowing the area means we skip the scouting and go straight to the good light — I'll suggest spots and times that suit the shoot you're after.

Film slows a shoot down in the best way. Thirty-six considered frames instead of eight hundred identical ones; colours and grain that feel warm and human straight off the negative. If you've been putting off a photoshoot because it all feels a bit stiff and corporate — this is the other kind.
